Description
The Director, Engineering oversees technical staff and consultants performing engineering and architectural design services related to large scale transportation projects. This position will also: 1) manage the Westside Purple Line Extension Section 2 Project engineering design activities including design issue resolution, change management, design progress tracking/coordination, 2) Collaborate with the design/build Contractor, affected municipalities, and external stakeholders to ensure implementation of applicable code, standards, and project requirements, 3) manage Metro’s engineering consultant’s daily design activities during construction services.
