PROJECT EQUIPMENT MANAGER

Walsh is currently seeking a Project Equipment Manager for our Chicago based Equipment Division.

The Project Equipment Manager is primarily responsible for managing all equipment-related matters on their assigned project or projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track jobsite equipment schedules such as making requests, end dates, transfers, schedule certification, etc.
  • Oversee that the delivery of the equipment is timely.
  • Schedule and manage preventative maintenance events for equipment and vehicles on assigned projects.
  • Be the single point of contact for your assigned projects.
  • Approve and process repair authorizations.
  • Work with Dealers OEM’s & Vendors with Repair Authorization process from open to close.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science or comparable technical degree 
  • Ability to obtain appropriate certifications required to enhance job duties
  • Minimum 5 yrs of work experience in managing equipment fleets
  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, work order systems and windows based management systems
