HYDRO ENGINEERING MANAGER
rPlus Energies

Company Description

rPlus was formed in late 2018 to develop projects that employ both traditional and new technologies to provide access to the best mix of renewable resources in a given region —including solar, pumped storage hydro, wind, battery energy storage systems and beyond.

The rPlus senior management group has collectively financed or developed nearly 2,000 megawatts of operating renewable energy capacity across the U.S., enough to power nearly 500,000 homes per year.

In its first two years, rPlus organized an experienced development team and established a portfolio of over 30 projects across the U.S. representing over 10 GW of new renewable energy capacity. Along the way, rPlus executed over 630 MW of corporate renewable PPAs and broke ground on the construction of its first solar project (80MW Utah solar).

rPlus Energies is a subsidiary of The Gardner Company, a full-service real estate company specializing in the development of commercial and industrial buildings. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT with offices in Boise, ID and Henderson, NV, the Gardner portfolio includes over 10-million square feet of commercial and medical building space (not including additional industrial building space and residential lots), and over 2,500 residential lots. The philosophy of the Gardner Company is to build great relationships. The Gardner Company has been dedicated to building better communities through thoughtful, sustainable practices in developing and managing real estate, energy and technology, and providing results-oriented philanthropy since 1976.

rPlus has the unique capacity to further optimize the value of its projects by leveraging the support of Gardner Company’s financial strength, commitment and diversification in energy infrastructure and policy.
