Project Manager

Columbia University is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Residential Construction Team. Responsibilities include acting as the primary lead on all phases of assigned capital projects, from inception through closeout. He/She will manage all or part of multiple design and construction projects, from programming and design through construction and closeout, ranging in cost from $10,000 to $50 MM. Projects vary in program type, complexity, and size and include interior renovations, exterior building restorations and state-of-good-repair infrastructure and building envelope projects. He/she will coordinate with all internal project stakeholders as well as external project participants including design consultants, contractors, and other required vendors to support the goals of the project.

An undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree in a relevant field is required. Advanced degree and/or Construction Management Certifications desirable. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the management of construction projects, ideally including multiple years managing high-quality residential renovation projects in New York City (vacant and occupied) buildings.
