Associate Director, Exteriors & Historic Preservation

Columbia University is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Exteriors & Historic Preservation, to join its Capital Project Management Team. Responsibilities include the overall management of the Exteriors & Historic Preservation portfolio of projects including oversight of the development and implementation of projects varying in size and complexity from $10,000 to $25MM, and from inception to completion, including feasibility, design, bidding through construction, and closeout. Organizational oversight including the supervision and development of assigned staff.

Bachelor’s degree is required. Advance degree and/or Construction Management Certification desirable. Minimum of seven (7) to nine (9) years of related experience required in the management of construction projects, including multiple years managing high-quality and complex historic preservation projects as well as state-of-good-repair building envelope projects in the New York City tri-state region.
