Schiavone Construction, an affiliate of Dragados, is currently seeking a Safety Manager to oversee 75-mile roadway project in the Catskills. Responsibilities: Management of all safety related matters Ensure all safety requirements are followed in all locations specified in the contract Work with management to create Safe Work Plans/JHA ’ s for site activities Monitor employees and subcontractors adherence to safety and health program Maintain Daily Safety Log and other safety related documentation Conduct weekly Safety meeting Conduct Safety Orientation Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal safety regulations Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses and submit any require reports in a timely manner Required Skills: OSHA 502/510 Training Scaffold Training Confined Space Training Hazwoper First Aid, CPR with AED OSHA 30 10 plus years NJ/NJ Construction Industry Safety Experience Contract specific requirements: Must Have ROW expierence Minimum 3yrs of Heavy Civil Construction Experience 30 hour OSHA within the last 5 years First Aid/CPR/AED Metro North Railroad training as needed
