Company: Dragados USA City of Position: New York State: New York **CURRENT EXPERIENCE IN BENEFITS AND WELLNESS AS A MANAGER IS REQUIRED** Job Title: Benefits & Wellness Manager Division/Department: Human Resources Reports to: SVP and CHRO Location: New York, NY FSLA: Exempt Base Compensation: Competitive compensation package SUMMARY: Manage the administration of employee benefits and wellness functions for Dragados USA. Plans, develops and implements new and revised employee benefits, policies, procedures, and compensation programs in order to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES: Manages and administers Employee Benefits Programs including, but not limited to, 401(k); medical & dental plans; term life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; accidental death policies, etc. Develops specifications, options and alternatives for new plans or modifies existing plans to maintain company's competitive position in labor market and obtain uniform benefit package for all employees and company locations. Evaluates and compares existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans and/or participates in area and industry surveys. Implements approved new plans and changes by preparing announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees. Revises and reissues all communications material on benefits periodically. Conducts employee meetings and seminars related to promoting existing Benefits, and arranges for enrollment of employees in optional plans. Advises and counsels management and employees on existing benefits. Assures company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Prepares reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies. Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management. Coordinates company benefits, with government sponsored programs. Maintains contact with insurance companies, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees. Oversees the early stage of the relocation process for expatriates, transfers, new hires and their family by providing information about the relocation process. Manages and oversees the temporary housing for expatriates and locals when necessary, as well as the repatriation process. Handles Benefit-related inquiries to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous resolution. Handles maintenance of human resources records, enrollment, application, and claims records for all benefit plans. Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management. DIRECT REPORTS: Manages 2 – 3 Direct Reports. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a relevant field. Five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive experience in Benefits and Wellness At least a minimum of three (3) current years of experience managing Benefits and the Benefits function Must have experience supporting and managing benefits for a total workforce population of at least 1,000 employees Prior people management experience Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HRIS systems. Ultipro experience preferred but not required; Pay Factors highly preferred Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills, customer service skills. Ability to multi-task, work in high pressure environment. Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented. Proactive and solution oriented. Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion and professional courtesy. Ability to effective communicate to all levels of employees both orally and in written communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high degree of confidentiality. Fluent in Spanish a plus but not required Construction or engineering industry experience is highly preferred.
