Position Summary: This role will be responsible for the overall project management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project in accordance with client requirements, organizational policies/procedures, contract specifications, and time and cost specifications. This role will demonstrate a complete understanding of the business operation. Essential Responsibilities: Establish and implement project plans Manage project budgets and resources Enforce project standards Forecast revenue and profitability Manage all quality assurance and change control processes Enforce site safety at all times Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency Develop and maintain business relationships with Joint Venture Partners, Owners, Business Manager, Architect/Engineers and subcontractors Attend, manage, and write meeting minutes of the Joint Venture Executive Meetings Provide organization, directions, and training of subordinate project team members Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, Owner Contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents This position does supervise/manage other employees and also has revenue and/or budget responsibilities Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred 15 years of experience in project management within a construction or engineering firm Local knowledge and experience. Knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software is a plus Communication – excellent oral presentation and written skills Interpersonal – able to work well and persuade people at all organization levels Organizational ability – able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects. Able to work well in a group environment and foster a team approach Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer License preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies: Business Acumen Ethical Practice / Integrity Leadership & Navigation Organizational Skills Relationship Management Teamwork Work Environment: Travel – Up to 25% Work Environment - This position will work both on the project site and project site office Physical Demands - The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk in both the office space and the project site ground Position Type / Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
