PROJECT LOCATION: Houston, Tx

SUMMARY:

The Senior Project Scheduler will be responsible for creating and maintaining multiple project schedules in P6 format, ranging in size from $1 million to over $500 million, and provide detailed time analysis to each Project Manager/Engineer, which will be submitted to the owner/agency. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Project Managers/Engineers to provide accurate schedules on a timely basis
  • Develop baseline schedules in P6 format for project pursuits and actual construction projects
  • Develop and maintain schedules with full construction resources and financial loading
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates
  • Prepare and process TIA analysis and project narratives
  • Provide all scheduling reports including financial flows, dash boards, charts, etc.
  • Compare and report on changes, delays and accelerations from month to month
  • Identify warnings and risks to the project for the purpose of mitigating the impact of these risks
  • Analyze month schedules and prepare reports for the purpose of dispute resolution issues
  • Aptitude to work with and support Project Managers’ scheduling needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience with multi-project scheduling capability
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in P6 scheduling software is required
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience with a variety of heavy civil construction projects
  • Excellent technical and mathematical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Organizational ability – able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects.
