Geotechnical Mining Services Client Manager

GeoStabilization International is searching for communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about the clients they serve. This Mining industry Client Account Manager will act as a point of contact for their specified clients. They will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts, always striving to find the services which best fit the individual needs of the client. They also aid internal departments by collecting information, such as sales leads or testimonials, assisting in the processing and analysis of client data and complaints, and identifying industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with specified clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company services.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Identifying industry trends.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • Self Starter/Self Motivated/Self Monitoring.
  • Prior Geotechnical/Geohazardous experience is required
  • P.E. Preferred
  • Must be able to travel for work. Average travel is 60% with occasional spikes up and down.
  • Must possess a desire and have the capability to develop long lasting client relationships and develop those relationships into sales
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and slope stability software preferable. 
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) required.
  • Good "people skills" to work in an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage several projects of various complexities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to continually prioritize tasks at hand.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
