The Payroll Manager oversees both internal and external customer, vendor, and auditor relationships. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local agencies. This position reports to the Controller.


Including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of all functions of the department including but not limited to payroll related tax withholding and filings.

  • Review and analyze current payroll, benefits, and tax procedures in order to implement changes to lead to best-practice operations.

  • Maintain payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.

  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

  • Responsible for the Department’s goals using the team to the best of their abilities while maintaining the corporate goals.

  • Recruit/Select and provide support, direction, and development/growth opportunity to Lane’s professional level payroll staff.

  • Maintain compliance with all International employee regulations while consistently adapting and improving International processes.

  • Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values.

  • And other duties as assigned.
