Summary:

At Lane we are constantly looking for ways to improve, enhance, and adapt in an ever-changing construction environment. That means finding an effective Implementation Specialist that is operationally focused, can drive change, and coach field employees in a transition to standard best practices for organizational growth and success.   As the Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible to train, support, coach and lead change at plants and projects. Your knowledge of Lean tools and change management methodologies will fuel productivity and drive culture and performance improvement.

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

  • Implement best practices that streamline processes and target predictable outcomes as it relates to planning, scheduling, resource allocation, setting and meeting production goals, corrective action, subcontract management, and overall field execution for plants and projects.

  • Provide on the job support, coaching and training for new site personnel as required to ensure standardized processes are being followed and measured.

  • Assists employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions.

  • Provide coaching and optimize change management skills to ensure adoption of new standard processes at existing plants and jobs, new locations and during M & A integrations.

  • Use Lean or other process improvement tools to quickly implement improvements that address operationally focused challenges and that lead to improved field performance and execution.

  • Implementation activities will take place exclusively at construction or plant operations across the U.S.

  • Carry out performance assessments to determine the skills gaps between current and desirable learning skill levels and abilities.

  • Effectively works with other members of the team and project team, drawing on all resources to achieve common goals. Promotes teamwork to generate positive and creative results.

  • Since a large portion of Implementation Specialists time will be spent directly interacting with field employees, it is important for them to have exception interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple and competing tasks in a construction environment.

  • Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values.
