The Project Director is responsible for overall direction, completion and financial outcome of a construction project.  Oversees all business issues on their project such as procurement, planning, human capital, profitability and budgets.  Promotes professional development and aligns with Lane’s mission, vision and values.

Including but not limited to:
•Overall responsibility for safety, quality, and budget for projects ranging in size
•Direct reports include: Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Engineer, Office Manager, QC and Safety
•Identify projects to bid, set bid philosophy, and review bids
•Set/monitor budgets and prepare monthly cost reviews
•Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operation priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships
•Ensure the necessary financial controls, information systems, management reporting and other real time systems are in place to maintain operating effectiveness and control the business
•Assist with design, operation and improvement of systems that create and deliver Lane’s products and services
•Support the Assistant District Manager and District Manager and represent when necessary
•Aide in Labor relations/Union negotiations/Legal Issues/Dispute resolution
•Manage cost and program documentation
•Effectively oversee subcontract management
•Responsible for promoting continuous safety standards
•Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values
•And other duties as assigned
