The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with other Lane recruiters and hiring managers, the position requires strong organizational and intelligence-focused research skills to target appropriate sources of high-caliber candidates, engage qualified prospects, and attract high-quality candidates.

The incumbent in this position will utilize a variety of employer branding and recruitment tools including direct outreach and cold-calling, Boolean search strings, posting on unique job boards and social media sites, networking, internet research, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS mining, and attending recruitment events, job fairs, and trade shows.  This unique opportunity will allow the Talent Acquisition Specialist to understand the various Lane business areas and job requirements to develop talent pipelines accordingly.


Including but not limited to:

  • Developing/maintaining effective partnerships with regional human resources managers, hiring managers, candidates, vendors, local colleges and universities, and industry organizations within your region.

  • Conferring with local management to understand their business & recruiting needs and establishing effective sourcing and recruiting strategies.

  • Taking advantage of events within our industry; always monitoring business and industry news for layoffs, acquisitions, stock price fluctuations, and changes in senior management, and reaching out to approachable prospects when these events occur.

  • Maintaining the ATS by creating job requisitions, and entering and updating sourcing, resume management, tracking and hiring information.

  • Preparing and posting internal/external advertisements in the Applicant Tracking System; reviewing resumes and applications.

  • Scheduling & conducting phone screens and in - person interviews.

  • Tracking/analyzing sourcing and recruiting progress throughout the entire life-cycle.

  • Carrying out job duties while maintaining Lane values.

  • Other duties as assigned.
