Safety Supervisor, Orlando, FL

The EHS Project Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the overall working conditions, compliance with local and corporate occupational safety and health regulations and procedures. Responsibilities also include leading and managing Lane's corporate safety initiatives and loss control programs. 

Responsibilities include but not limited:

•Directs and administers specific functions of the EHS program at the project level
•Assists project team with daily pre-planning activities
•Executes risk assessment and job hazard analysis process of identifying hazards and putting in place controls.
•Encourages a proactive reporting culture, and assisting Project Management with the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Project Safety Plan
•Provides proactive leadership and assumes ownership of continuing improving our overall safety culture; anticipating problems and providing effective solutions
•Conducts regular site safety inspections, reports deficiencies, analyzes inspection and incident data to identify opportunities to develop preventive and corrective practices
•Participates in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with all local, federal and state regulations
•Conducts, develops, and oversees all job wide related training
•Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions; and monitor results to make improvements or take corrective action
•Assist our corporate insurance department to ensure proper documentation has been prepared and maintained on asset loss and workers compensation claims
