The Department of Construction Management at the University of Houston is seeking applicants for a non-tenure-track instructional faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. The anticipated start date of this position is September 1, 2018.

The Construction Management program at the University of Houston has experienced steady growth in student enrollment and research funding. Currently, the program has an approximate enrollment of 880 undergraduate and graduate students. Additional information is available online at: http://www.uh.edu/technology/departments/cm/  

The selected candidate is expected to teach four undergraduate courses per semester, participate in program administration, build a close collaboration with the industry, and perform program marketing and development activities, and services to the department, college, university, and community

A successful candidate must have earned a master degree in engineering or construction management. All candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

A Ph.D. degree in engineering or construction management is preferred. Candidates with relevant industry experience, especially in Process and Industrial Construction, are encouraged to apply.
