Concrete Paving General Superintendent

Oklahoma based construction company, Duit Construction, is looking for a seasoned concrete paver (i.e.highway mainline paving, airfield, DOD, city paving), for our Concrete Paving Superintendent role.

The purpose of the Concrete Paving Superintendent will be to direct and manage workers and equipment, enforcing the company's direction, policies, procedures, safety standards, and scheduling to achieve construction deadlines; experience in Concrete Paving a Must. The Concrete Paving Superintendent will report directly to the Executive General Superintendent.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction of concrete paving and plant production.
  • Experience with highway mainline paving, airfield, DOD, city paving is essential
  • Experience in Dowel Bar Insertion and CRCP
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Must demonstrate high quality and attention to detail
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Valid driver's license issued within the United States clear of multiple and/or major violations.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds


  • Responsible for ensuring the safety of crew members and the public who may interact with job.
  • In charge of all concrete activities for multiple concrete plants and all paving crews
  • Oversee production and quality of all concrete, as well as maintaining high standard of paving efforts
  • Manage all crews and crew sizes
  • Tour job sites to ascertain progress in meeting time schedules, detect insufficient utilization of workers and crew size.
  • Responsible for equipment utilization and maintainability on projects
  • Sustain and manage cost and budget per project
  • Supervising and coordinating crew activities, build production schedules, and estimating work requirements for completion of job assignment in compliance with or beating the job estimate.
  • Recommends measures to improve productions methods, equipment performance, product quality, and crew performance
  • Collaborate with estimators to plan paving operations for bidding and planning while arranging activities reflective of paving widths

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish)
  • Degree in Construction Management or related degree field.
